Aqua's Ultima II--filtration system Aqua's Ultima II pressurized filtration system is considered one of the most advanced in the industry. With it's unique patented tubular bio media, and simple back wash system is is an effective yet simple filter to use. One cubic foot of patented bio media eauals 750 squarefeet of suface area on which microscopic beneficial bacteria can grow. The unique internal design allows the filter to be used and backwashed by low pressure, low energy consumption pumps. Properly sized, these filters can handle a small pond of 1000 gallons to extraordinary pon of 60,000 gallons.
